AZ Renissance Festival 2026
It’s that time of year again!
For this year’s Renaissance Festival, we decided to fully commit. Full costumes, and we even went twice, so we could see more of the limited-time engagements that were scheduled this year.

Naturally, my dad had to photobomb or just be ridiculous with the pictures by taking them from the sky 🤦♀️.

We saw many classics, but the biggest excitement of the year is that Jaques ze Whipper had a two-week limited engagement at the AZ festival this year!
Obviously, it was going to be packed, so we ran straight there to make sure we got seats. Since he wasn’t actually the first act at the stage, we got to see a new performance, which we ended up really liking!
Introducing The Renaissance Men!

They were good sports about the fact that the stage was PACKED, but it wasn’t for them.
I believe they are going to be a new permanent show, so we will watch for them next year too!
Drum roll, please! It’s time for Jacque Ze Whipper!!
While we have seen him before, the great thing about his performance is that it is unique with crowd participation, but he does a really good job making sure that doesn’t take over his entire personality and show.
After that, we decided to mix things up a bit and go watch the afternoon Joust! My nephew came down from Idaho with my parents, so we wanted to make sure he had the full experience… even if it was way too hot 🥵.

We also made sure to go see classics like Chimney Cakes for “breakfast” and the all-time classic glassblowing, which my nephew was surprisingly interested in!

Another very successful Renaissance year! Though if we get our choice, we are going to try and go to the Southeast Idaho one and maybe even Denver.
